Jay Mitchell is a singer songwriter and recording artist for Warner Music Canada. He has had the great privilege to open for Canadian Icons and Hall of Fame recipients Blue Rodeo, and other Canadian legends including Spirit of The West, Colin James and 54/40.

Although prone to narcissism, he would never have called the band, "The Jay Mitchell Band" had he known the amount of time and collaboration the members of the band would put into his music. "Who knows, maybe we'll have a name that band contest one day", or just say you're going to the watch the "JMB". This collaboration of musicians is what makes this band so incredible. "I could go on for ever about Jordan Carrier, Ed Johnson, Brad Graham and are newest member Matt Wolfsohn".

The music brings their feel and genius out into the light and brings the story to life. Their newest, album “Rattle in My Cage" is set to drop anytime now. “We just have to stop recording more music to put on it”, Jay says.

A lot of the music being performed will be from "Rattle in My Cage" but songs from previous releases "The World is Flat" and "Little Coma" will definitely have their time as well.
